2026 Scarecrow Contest

Get those creative juices flowing and make some memories with your family and enter for a chance to win some great prizes! We need homeowners to create and make a Scarecrow to enter into the contest. Grab a bale of Hay, whatever materials that you like and get to work at home. Bring your mostly assembled Scarecrow to the Foundation Saturday, October 17, between 10:00-11:00 a.m. We do not provide any supplies just ties to secure it to a tree. Please register at hvftoday.com to be entered in the contest. You will receive a number that morning and you will assemble your Scarecrow in the designated area (Playground Area). Homeowners will have a chance to vote for their favorite Scarecrow during the festival. Prizes will be awarded after the Trunk- R -Treat. Please only register one name per Scarecrow. No Deadline. Please provide yourself with enough time to get your Scarecrow set up before the festival starts at noon.
