POWER OUTAGE SCHEDULED 

Penelec has scheduled a power outage for October 7, 2020 beginning at 7:30 AM and lasting through 3:30 PM. The rain date is October 8, 2020. 

The affected areas include:  South Ridge Drive (Stonewood Area), South Ridge Place, South Ridge Plaza, South Ridge Lane, South Ridge Way, South Ridge Court, South Ridge Terrace, Eagles Ridge Court, Eagles Ridge Terrace, Eagles Ridge Way, Hightop Drive, Hightop Circle, Greenfield Terrace, Greenfield Drive, Powder Ridge Road, Timbercrest Terrace, Timbercrest Court, Tailor Way,Veech Lane, Forbes Lane, Gristmill Lane, Gristmill Court, Kepple Lane, Tanyard Lane, South Ridge Center (Foundation Office, Highlands Center (Maintenance & Post Office)

The Foundation Office will not have power all day during that time frame and the telephone service will be interrupted as well. Emergencies should be directed to Security at 814-233-7056. 

The Snowfield Drive, Snowfield Place, Snowfield Terrace, Snowfield Court and Snowfield Way and Snowfield Run areas will have a shorter outage period than the remaining 

areas. The technician thought the electric would be restored in these areas around noon. 

Residents will get a robocall from Penelec regarding this outage provided the telephone number in their system is the correct number for individual residents. 

Homeowners are encouraged to make preparations for this outage and draw buckets and pitchers of water for household use during this lengthy outage if they have a water pump in their unit. 

Summit Village Board Meeting via teleconference.  If you wish to be placed on the agenda to be heard, contact the Foundation Office, 814-443-3001,  a week prior to the meeting to be placed on the agenda. 

ACC Meetings are held at the Foundation Office.  Currently because of COVID restrictions, only Committee Members are able to attend in person.  Special arrangements must be made if anyone would like to in in attendance via teleconference.
