Coffee Hour / Lecture

Join us for our next Coffee Hour in The Great Room at South Ridge Center Saturday, February 26 at 9:00 a.m.

Author Chris Rodell was from 1992-2012 America's most swashbuckling feature writer. His forte wasn't politics, sports, or law. His forte was folks. He is an author of five books and Governor Tom Ridge says: "Rodell writes about people the way Sinatra sings about New York, unflinching about the gritty realities, but with abiding affection and relentless positivity about the future."

All for the sake of the story, Rodell wrestled alligators, raced Ferraris, leapt out of airplanes from 3,000 feet, flirted with death atop a bed of nails, and gained twenty pounds in one week eating like Elvis. His friendships include more than a dozen Guinness Book of World record holders for feats that amaze. His books include," Arnold Palmer: Homespun Stories of The King," about his oddball friendship with one of the planet's most popular and beloved men. His talks sparkle with uproarious humor, indelible characters, and poignant appreciation for what it means to be a thoughtful Earthling in the year 2022.
