Join us on Sunday, May 24 (weather permitting) for a two and a half to three-mile hike in Laurel Hill State Park, just around the corner from Hidden Valley.

We will meet at the Foundation at 10:00 to carpool to the park. Then we’ll hike up the Water Line Trail, follow the ridgeline on Martz trail, and come back down on the Pumphouse Trail, stopping at Jones Mill Run Dam to see the lovely waterfall.

Trails are moderate in difficulty, with a fairly steep climb at the beginning and gentler climbs and descents after that; we will hike slowly but should be back in time for the pool opening party. Hikers of all ages are welcome.

Trail snacks will be provided. Wear sturdy, closed shoes and bring a full water bottle, sunscreen, insect repellent, and trekking poles if you like.  Please make sure to sign up!

The summer carnival is Sunday, May 24th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Hidden Valley Foundation Park.  The activities include Face Painting, Sno-cones, popcorn, cotton candy and games.  

Rosalinda's Food Truck will be set up at the parking lot by the Pavilion for the Carnival to purchase food from 2:00 PM to 7:00 pm.  So, come on out to enjoy the carnival and support the food truck.  Register at www.hvftoday.com/events.
