Forbes State Forest consists of nearly 59,000 acres of land throughout Fayette, Somerset, and Westmoreland Counties. A portion of Forbes State Forest serves as the highest peak in Pennsylvania, also known as Mount Davis. This park features over 250 miles of hiking mountain biking, and cycling trails, horseback riding, picnicking, fishing, hunting, cross-country skiing, and 115-miles of snowmobiling trails.
